Heavy Forklifts
Hyundai is aiming for a new customer base with their new range of heavy forklift trucks. A variety of industries, from the concrete and natural stone industries, to the steel business, the transportation of heavy goods in the ports and the railway sector are all relying on and working with heavy duty machines. The power and efficiency offered by the models keep operational costs low and offer the best conditions for economical work. These types of equipment could excel in the most demanding environments.
The Cummins diesel engines ranging from 162 horse-power to 250hp provides the required power on all of the large capacity units. TierIII emission standards are met with engines that have 6 cylinders. These models can take the truck up to a speed of 35 km/h. It has the ability to climb on steep slopes and rough terrain and also provides great acceleration.
The operator could use a switch in order to choose 1 of 2 driving modes. While in "Power" mode, full power is available for work on heavy loads or difficult terrain. In the "STP" mode, the trucks could save lots of fuel during light-duty work. Moreover, simply by pressing a switch, the operator could automatically maintain a selected speed without touching the accelerator pedal. This is another fuel saving function. The fully automatic transmission of the forklift gently shifts through the gears, making the machine comfortable to operate and simple to maneuver.
A comfortable and spacious working place is provided by a well-ventilated cabin. The cabin combines fatigue-free work with high performance. The powerful air conditioning and heating system helps make certain that the operator has a comfortable interior. The cab was ergonomically designed to offer a bird's eye view of all of the controls, adding to the unit's overall safety. An MP3 player and a CD player put the finishing touches on providing the nice atmosphere which Hyundai equipment are reputed to have.
