Lull Telehandlers
Ever since the year 1959, Lull has been making telehandlers. Their machines have been designed for load placement with their patented Stabil-Trak stability system. This system provides a lot more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers provide various optional attachments and these telehandlers could really help you complete all your requirements, while being efficient and safe at the worksite. When accuracy and precision are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to accomplish everything you require.
The Future
Numerous attachments have been designed and developed in order to make rough terrain forklifts as efficient as possible. Booms, winches and rotating fork carriages allow the forklift to place materials in a more accurate way. The booms or articulating booms come with 2 different extendible arms and could reach up and over structures so as to position loads on interior roof slope settings or in the center of upper floors. New attachments and products are being developed and engineered all the time and would be available in the future.
Many improvements have been made with extra safety features becoming more prevalent. For example, load-reach management devices can restrict the forklift's reach automatically, based on the load being handled as opposed to relying on the operator. Pressure sensors are used in order to know the weight of the load. This information is sent to a small electronic memory device that had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
When the load is being placed into position, the memory will compare the extension of the boom and the boom's angle with the safety limits. There is an important lock-up device or a warning system which prevents the operator from over-reaching and possibly causing the boom to fail or the forklift to tip over.
